His Instrument

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

Would you like some Honeysuckle?

This piece was collared in and sealed at the top. While the pot is still wet, a small groove is made around the center to begin the opening of the lid. Once the pot is leather hard the lid will be cut free from the bass and then, you can begin the fun stuff...carving!

I would like you to think of using this particular vessel as a trinket box rather than something you might use as storage for the kitchen. Its delicate and would hold great treasures...

Kim and Cory

When first making this piece, I knew very little about the people who would eventually receive it as a wedding gift. I knew they were active Christians. One loved Gerber Daisy, and the other was passionate about music. After finding out what they love and like, I wanted to make something that would serve as a compliment to the both of them.

Though we go through sharp and smooth times in our lives our eyes remain focused on one thing...

The Wedding Gift

Durango, Colorado. The bluest skies, the mountains encircle the small town as if it wanted to protect you from an enemy. The aspen trees with their tall white trunks and the beautiful leaves that change color in the fall cover the mountainsides.
The Mountains, the Blue Sky, and the Trees with the white trunks. Do you see it? Do you see what I see.........
