His Instrument

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

Mary Magdalene

This is my Mary Magdalene.

Mary Magdalene had been healed of evil spirits (seven demons) and infirmities. Like every women she was strong, delicate and pretty.  Strong, because she had the love of Christ in her.  Delicate, because she was protected by the Holy Spirit.  And Pretty because she was made by God.
Every woman I know has some kind of evil spirit, negative thought, loneliness, sadness, heartbreak, feels as if she has no family, no group of friends, fear of what people may think of her, worried about something.  We have all of this going on in our mind and it can be SO exhausting. And, the only one that can take it ALL away or make us safe... is Christ.  He fought for Magdalene and He healed her, we are no different then her.

Tulip

Final Faze.  The vase is glazed & has had it's final firing.

Second faze; bisque fired.

This process is done at bone dry stage:
The vase has a raised design. I use shellac to paint a design, let it dry, then take a sponge dripping it in water wiping the area around the design removing the clay that does not have shellac on it.

This is faze one of a vase I make.  I am using a cone 10, B-mix
clay without sand.  At this stage it is bone dry; dry but hasn't had it's first fire, which is Bisque fire.  The vase is about 13'' tall. The top is a flared
technique I do with my fingers wet and pulling up the clay and thinning it out.
